Whether a custom timber pergola built directly for a residential homeowner or through an architect, we follow the same easy 1, 2, 3 build process...
​
After your initial design and build consultation, we will create and deliver to you a bid estimate and design notes for your review. If a digital rendering of the pergola design in requested, we build those in-house too! Once the design is approved, we then begin custom cutting your timber pergola framing and gently hand sanding each and every timber piece.
Next, we pre-fit all pergola timber joints prior to the on-site build at your residential or commercial space to ensure an optimal fit, so your structure holds strong and sturdy after decades of use.
The last item on our checklist before installation on your property is to protect your wood from the harsh elements of the sun's UV rays and heavy Utah snow loads. For this we use long-lasting, premium stain and conditioner products that look absolutely beautiful (color match available).
Additionally, polycarbonate pergola covers are available and a very popular option in recent years!
Lastly, it's time for us to install your beautiful new timber structure at your property, with our goal of earning your complete satisfaction.

We'll chamfer the edges of all your pergola posts, beams, and rafters with a high-power router and professional router bits. For post-to-beam connections, we notch the beam into the posts for an exceptional look and superior connection! The strongest hardware is used throughout the build: custom-welded steel post bases and Simpson Strong-Tie timber screws.
